Conference 'Sustainable Food Systems < > Sustainable Diets'

Supported by the M.A. in Food Studies and the Center for Food Studies at The American University of Rome Graduate School, the Conference aims to invite both theoretically and empirically informed contributions that address:

1. •efforts across different contexts to change food consumption practices in sustainable directions;
   

2. •policies, research and investments conducive to fostering the desirable transformations of the food system and dietary practices;
   

3. •critical assessments of the potential of social and technological innovations (e.g. novel foods) to shape production and consumption practices towards greater sustainability.

Deadline for the extended abstracts (see suggested format) and a short CV is 30 May 2019.

Feedback will be given by 20 July 2019.
